The records, the upsets, the struggling powerhouses, and the surprise stories. But there is still so much more to play for with a game to spare! The Steelers could miss the playoffs for the first time since 2013 if the Ravens win, the Eagles could miss the playoffs just ten months following the franchise's first ever Super Bowl victory, and the Colts and Titans are set to battle for just one playoff spot in the final game of 2018. For twenty teams, it's time for offseason vacations, and looking towards 2019 to make sure they are in next year's tournament. Week 17 Power Rankings: Who Deserves To Be Playing in January?

For die-hard fans like myself, this season has flown by. It seems like just yesterday all the teams had hope. In reality, there are teams imploding left and right and the usual contenders slipping up more than usual. Hopefully that adds up to a crazy and exciting playoffs. Real quick let’s reiterate. Now that we’re into the season, teams will move up or down a lot based on trades, injuries, or big wins or losses. Who the opponent was, how close of a game it was, and in general how good the team looked will be considered more than just getting the victory. 32. Teams on the fringe face must win games with no wiggle room left to spare, while first round byes are still there for the taking. The Week 16 slate features an abundance of high quality matchups, starting on Saturday night, when the Ravens take on the Chargers, and it continues into Sunday, where the Texans face the resurging (?) Eagles, the Giants battle the Colts, the Steelers visit the struggling Saints, and the Chiefs look to bounce back in Seattle against the Seahawks. So without further ado, let's predict the games! Important games for playoff seeding populated the slate. The Thursday night game was huge in deciding which AFC West team will win the one seed and which will have to play a road game on Wild Card Weekend. The Steelers and Patriots renewed their rivalry with playoff seeding on the line. The wild card races in both the NFC and AFC are heating up with the teams in position facing trap games and the teams behind them keeping the pressure on with wins.
