The TB12 Way of Life

Written by Sam DeCoste
Tom Brady will turn 43 in August, and he has shown no signs of slowing down.

Last season, Brady became the oldest quarterback in NFL history to start every game in a 16 game season. He is also the oldest quarterback to lead the league in passing yards, to win the AP Most Valuable Player award, to be named first-team All-Pro, and to both play in a Super Bowl and win Super Bowl MVP. In his career, he led the New England Patriots to six Super Bowl wins in an eighteen year span. Over that time period, has thrown over 74,000 yards and 540 touchdowns, which each rank second all time.

These are among the many reasons Brady is heralded as the Greatest Of All Time, or G.O.A.T. for short, at the quarterback position. He has produced on the field and delivered titles over nearly a two decade span at a very high level, whereas most quarterbacks burn out before crossing the 40 year threshold.

So what makes Tom Brady different? How was he able to sustain a peak level of perform…

Post-Draft Power Rankings: Packers Fall, Buccaneers Surge

Written by Sam DeCoste

In a time without sports, the NFL came and saved us.
One of the most captivating offseasons wrapped up last week following the first ever virtual NFL Draft, following an entertaining free agency period. Joe Burrow was selected first overall, DeAndre Hopkins was traded, Tom Brady is a Buccaneer, and Roger Goodell humanized himself as the commissionner! This offseason will go down as one the most memorable for the blockbuster moves, the virtual draft, the stars switching teams, and for its ability to distract us and win our hearts during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Before the NFL schedule is released later this week, it's time to rank all 32 NFL teams. It's time to see who are the bottom feeders, who is rising up, and who are the true championship players.
Where does your team rank going into the summer?

The Jaguars shipped out just about every notable name from the 2017 team that made it to the Championship minus Leonard Fournette and Yannick Ngakuoe, and …

Great teams are built through the draft. Beginning Thursday night, the 2020 NFL Draft will commence, and will be an entirely virtual operation. Due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19, the NFL relocated this year's draft from Las Vegas to Zoom. Commissioner Roger Goodell will announce the picks from his home in Bronxville, New York in his basement. Draft prospects will be all be drafted from their homes. It will be a spectacle unlike anything we will see this millennium for one of the league's premier live events.

Nonetheless, the draft goes on. These players who have dreamed of making it pro will see their dreams realized this weekend, and begin their NFL journeys. Cincinnati is on the clock. Enjoy my one and only 2020 NFL Mock Draft for the first round!

Winners and Losers of Free Agency 2020: Is the Power Shifting in the AFC East?

Written by Sam DeCoste
If I were to tell you at the beginning of last season that
DeAndre Hopkins would be a Cardinal,Stefon Diggs would be a Bill,Todd Gurley would be a Falcon,Philip Rivers would be a Colts,Teddy Bridgewater would be a Panther, and Tom Brady would be a Buccaneer, you would have laughed at me. But this is the alternate Madden-esque reality which the NFL will be in 2020, with a number of brand value names playing in different uniforms. Even the great Tom Brady has parted ways with the Patriots, and DeAndre Hopkins was shipped out of Houston for a roll of toilet paper. This offseason could mark one of the most historic periods of transition for the NFL and define the trajectories of more teams than ever before.

Now that the first wave of free agency has died down, we have a chance to breathe and break down the biggest transactions of the first week of NFL free agency and determine who are the winners and losers of the legal tampering period. Only time will tell who are the …
