2017 Week 4 Predix

Written by Sam DeCoste Week 4 in the NFL kicks off Thursday night when the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers renew the greatest rivalry in football history, and it concludes when the Washington Redskins visit Kansas City to take on the Chiefs. With a new week of games looming, it's time for another week of Predix! Last week, I did not pick the games as accurately as I would have hoped for. But let's be honest, it was a crazy week in the league last week. But there will always be next week to get it right! My overall record last week: 7-9 Lock of the Week record: 3-0 My overall season record: 29-18 I don’t care if this is the greatest rivalry in NFL history, because this is not a game that deserves a national audience. The only result we can see here is an easy victory for Green Bay. The Packers should have no trouble with this game, but that’s what I thought about their matchup against Cincinnati. Of course, it took Green Bay overtime to beat th

Monday Hangover: Wild Week 3

Written by Sam DeCoste Boy, did we need a week like this. From the 80 points scored by the Rams and 49ers on Thursday night, to the crazy finishes in Philadelphia, Detroit, and Chicago, there are so many storylines to dissect in this edition of the Monday Hangover. So let’s see if we can sum up one of the craziest football Sundays in recent memory. In a City of Sleeping Giants The Giants once again are in a free fall. They are one of five teams in the league who are in the dreaded abyss of 0-3, along with the likes of Cincinnati, Cleveland, the Chargers, and San Francisco. But the Giants may be the worst of the pack right now.  Going into the fourth quarter of the Eagles game, the Giants were out of it in all honesty. But down 14-0, New York stormed back by scoring 21 unanswered points, before Philly stole the momentum back and kicked a 61-yard field goal to beat the Giants, in heartbreaking fashion. It's a shame in the sense that the Giants were out of it very ear

2017 Week 3 Predix

Written by Sam DeCoste Week 3 begins tonight when the Los Angeles Rams visit the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football, and concludes on Monday night when the Arizona Cardinals host the Dallas Cowboys. With a new week of games approaching, it is time for Week 3 Predix!  Now last week, I did not exactly nail my picks. But there’s always the next week to get it right! My overall record last week: 11-5 Lock of the Week record: 2-0 My overall season record: 22-9  This is a decent football game, if it’s played on a Sunday afternoon, and both teams are wearing their standard uniforms, instead of the ketchup and mustard Color Rush kits. Have you seen them? They’re disgusting. Anyways, the 49ers are struggling offensively this season, and that’s the main reason they are winless going into Week 3. But their defense has kept them in both of their games so far. Carlos Hyde is their best offensive player, and it’s not really close. The Rams got upset at home by
